OWED TO GUNNEY MARSH

- You taught us of pressure and the wind’s relation
- And how to track fronts as they cross this great nation
- You’ve shown us how to use thermal indication
- And how to locate each minor perturbation
- We’ve watched you find troughs with great fascination
- Our speed has increased due to your instigation
- But the one thing we hope to take back to each station
- Is at least half as much of your imagination
